Interactive content
Interactive content blocks let you create a customised content experience for your users by revealing content based on their selection or input.
Decision tree
The decision tree block could be used for creating quizzes, or just tailoring content to your user’s needs. It delivers content based on your user’s answers to questions. Here’s an example quiz about what you’d like to achieve with Silverstripe CMS.
Form block with UserForms module
Tab block
Need a bit of extra structure on a page? Tabs let your user see different sections of content and click between them.
How do I use them?
Give each tab section a title, and then populate the content within via the WYSIWYG editor. There is a maximum of 3 tabs.
Is there a mobile view?
On desktop, the tabs are displayed in a horizontal row as clickable links under the block title. On tablet and mobile, the tabs become options in a dropdown field where the user can select a tab to view.
Your tabs can have as much or as little content as you like. You can put photos in there, too.
Here's a photo of a website that was made in Silverstripe CMS. Find out more about this project and our other work on the Silverstripe Limited website.
Tabs
- Stacked horizontally across a page
- Good for short titles, so that all of them can fit within the page width
- Show the content from the first tab by default
Accordions
- Stacked vertically across a page
- Suitable for longer titles
- It’s up to you whether accordions are expanded or collapsed. A collapsed set of accordions may make it easier to scan the entire list before expanding the relevant one.
